Last Thursday, I headed down to the State Fair Best Western to go to the Women's Health Expo.  The meeting room, on the upper level, was beautiful, and packed full of people! There were about 50 vendors there with everything from health and insurance to food and diets, and even clothes and jewelry.  There was a speaker who spoke about not just Women's Health, but about choices that people can make to be healthier eaters for themselves and their families.

The Factory Connection had a fashion show, where they showed several different styles of outfits on hometown models of many shapes and sizes.  The vendor booths were packed with great information, free samples and friendly smiles. The admission was just a donation of paper products or hygiene materials to the Sedalia Senior Center, so it was all for a great cause.

Here's a look at the expo!

Make your plans now to go to the COC Picadilly on Sept. 26 at the State Fair Motor Inn.  And don't miss out on next year's event! If you want to be involved as a vendor, you can call the chamber at 826-2222.

Educationally yours,

Behka
