Woman Allegedly Hands Jailer Bag of Meth From Her Bra
Sedalia Police noticed a vehicle parked on South Limit near 18th at 3:18 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9 and conducted a vehicle check.
According to a report, there were two subjects inside. A consent to search the vehicle yielded a glass pipe with white residue inside. In addition, there was a baggie containing needles and a small amount of a white crystalline substance.
Arrested were 39-year-old Margaret M. Fields and 52-year-old Jeffery Lee Waters. They were taken into custody, charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to the Pettis County Jail.
Fields had an additional charge when she handed the jailer a baggie from inside her bra containing a white, crystalline substance that appeared to be methamphetamine.
She was charged with introduction of a controlled substance inside a jail.
