At the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show, the world was stunned as Justin Timberlake ripped back a piece of Janet Jackson's clothing and exposed her breast on live television. It has been a full decade since that performance, but it is still brought up every year around this time.

The halftime show has become one of the most popular events during Super Bowl Sunday. It has continuously had the highest ratings on television, and Yahoo reports that 48% of all televisions in the nation were tuned in to the show last year.

This year's performance will feature Bruno Mars and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Some have said the Super Bowl committee has been playing it safe with the halftime performers ever since 2004. I think that needs to change, I'm ready for some more excitement during the break from the game.
