Who Makes a Good Reuben Sandwich in the Area?

With St. Patrick's Day coming up next month, Corned Beef and Cabbage will be on the menu for many restaurants and dinner tables, but for those of us that are more of a lover of corned beef on a sandwich, where do you find the best Reuben Sandwich?

It's estimated that we'll eat 70% more cabbage this week than normal. Of course on a Reuben Sandwich, sauerkraut is used. (You do know that sauerkraut is made out of cabbage!)

I've had Reuben sandwiches off a few area menus. I've had some great ones but I'm not sure that I've had one that just stuck in my head as the best Reuben ever.

Of course that perfect combination of corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese and thousand island dressing on toasted rye bread can make or break a restaurant's reputation.

Now if you're fixing it yourself, corned beef is going at premium prices in the area. One store had it advertised at 6.49 lb., but why not...splurge...it's St. Patrick's Day!
