We've all grown up in different eras. For some of us hanging out was at the corner drugstore, maybe the malt shop.  For others it was on a corner sitting in our cars on a Saturday night watching everyone cruise by.

We've all had a our favorite hangouts growing up. Whether it was in our teens, as we got into high school or in those years that followed, we have a couple of spots or locations that bring a smile to our faces when we reminisce.

For me, in high school it was the Highway 71 strip in Butler, MO.  We used to cruise up and down the strip every Friday and Saturday night. You especially hit the strip after a high school game. There really wasn't that much variation of what happened night after night but it was still the place to be and to be seen.

As I grew older I remember spending various evenings and Saturday afternoons in Sedalia at Bunny's Barbecue aka Mary Prines.  We used to play shuffleboard and nurse "tubs" of beer.  Great friends and great times as we let the cares of the world stay outside as we carried on with bigger and better things inside.

What hangout brings a smile to your face?
