Many of our greatest film directors have also lent their talents to the realm of music videos, with the likes of David Fincher, Martin Scorsese, and Spike Jonze providing us with some of our most iconic entries into the genre. Also counted amongst these is Edgar Wright, having basically directed a feature-length music video for his iTunes playlist with last year’s Baby Driver, that all started with a video he directed for Mint Royale’s “Blue Song” back in 2003. Wright has returned to music videos with Beck’s “Colors,” a bright, poppy, heavily choreographed dance track featuring Beck himself dancing along with Alison Brie.

The video is tightly choreographed and features a number of dancers in blue and yellow bodysuits moving around Brie and Beck, who are clad in all-white 1950s-style formal wear to stand out. Both of them have a lot of dancing to do, and they sure look like they know what they’re doing. That’s just a clip above, but you can watch the full video on Apple Music.

If you don’t have Apple Music and still want to see a video of the song and are also one of those people who’s really into the colored slime trend, Beck’s VEVO channel also released a “Slime Visualizer” version a few months ago. You’ll see what I mean:

Hopefully, Edgar Wright’s entire video for “Colors” will be available on YouTube soon. Beck is currently touring.
