The Sedalia Police Department made two arrests on January 25 after serving a narcotics-related search warrant in the 1400 block of S. Stewart Ave.

According to a news release, two adults and a juvenile were inside the residence. The adults were detained without incident, and a K9 unit was deployed. Methamphetamine, heroin, prescription pills, marijuana and various drug paraphernalia items were reportedly located, along with evidence indicating that drugs were being distributed from the home.

51-year-old Douglas C. Burlingame and 29-year-old Laura L. Martin were both arrested on numerous charges and were transported to the Pettis County Jail.
