Two Arrested After Alleged Assault Involving a Knife

Sedalia Police were called Saturday to the 200 block of S. Engineer Avenue, where a man told them he had been punched and a knife had been held to his throat.

Police spoke with two suspects in the 1800 block of E. 6th. 56-year-old Mark Eugene Shull was arrested  on charges including second degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, and armed criminal action. 61-year-old Ira DeWayne Demois was arrested on one count of third degree assault. Both men were transported to the Pettis County Jail.
