Three Arrested After Traffic Stop in Sedalia
A man with a warrant for first degree rape was one of three people arrested after a traffic stop in the early morning hours of September 12 in Sedalia.
Sedalia Police conducted the stop around 4:14 a.m. They say a passenger in the vehicle, 32-year-old Cornell Elliott Staten, had a felony warrant from Kansas City for first degree rape. The driver, 19-year-old Sarah E. Gerloff, was arrested for a Sedalia municipal charge of driving while suspended, and another passenger, 29-year-old Jordan Danielle Rhodes, was found to be in possession of marijuana.
The traffic stop took place near the intersection of W. 16th Street and S. Grand Avenue.
