One of rock's most restless figures is once again trying something new. After reinventing the way we listen to records, Jack White is extending his record company to a new arm of business: publishing.

Third Man Books has just announced its debut offering, 'Language Lessons: Volume I,' a box set featuring a 321-page hardbound book, two vinyl records and a bunch of other goodies.

The book contains, according to the press release, "contemporary poetry and prose including over 20 award winning and / or nominated contemporary poets and authors such as Dale Ray Phillips, a Pulitzer Prize nominee in fiction, C.D. Wright, a National Book Award finalist and National Book Critics Circle winner in poetry, and Adrian Matejka, a National Book Award and Pulitzer Prize finalist in poetry."

The music on the two LPs  comes from a wide variety of "jazz, psychdelic-punk, poetry, blues and pop ... artists," like William Tyler, Destruction Unit, Ken Vandermark and Sampson Starkweather.

The set, which comes out on Aug. 5, will also include pieces of art and poems that you can frame and hang on your wall.

And in case you've forgotten, White also makes some mighty fine music, like the title track to his recent No. 1 album, 'Lazaretto':
