Kidabaloo is one of the most fun events our radio stations sponsor each and every year. This upcoming Kidabaloo is going BIG! The event is moving to an all-new location, and will be bringing some new attractions for kids and families to enjoy. Kidabaloo 2018 is sponsored by State Farm Agent Bryan JenkinsShip Shape Party Rentals, and Stone Laser Imaging Trophies and Tee's.

New Location

The spring Kidabaloo has been traditionally held at the Ag Building on the Missouri State Fairgrounds. This year, it's still on the fairgrounds, but we're moving to the Matthewson Exhibition Center. That allows more space for everyone, and the line can wrap around the concourse, rather than outside, in case bad weather strikes (which it's not supposed to do).

New Attractions

A larger face painting team should mean shorter lines. Relay for Life is pitching in to help with face painting. Ship Shape Party Rentals will be bringing two inflatable obstacle courses and a new, larger bounce house with a slide. Thorni Ridge Exotic Petting Zoo will also have more space to bring in different animals that we've not previously had at Kidabaloo.

New Contests

Our annual giveaways like free custom stuffed animals for the first 50 kids and free t-shirts for the first 50 kids will be back. This year there will also be a new contest for a chance to win free frozen yogurt for a year from Orange Leaf. Check out the various vendor booths for additional prizes and giveaways. There will be plenty of candy and prizes for kids at the radio station booth, too.

All activities like the inflatables, petting zoo, games and contests are included with admission. There is no ticketing system for attractions, face painting, or photos with characters. Concessions and shopping with vendors are the only things on the schedule that would require additional purchases.

Kidabaloo hours on April 28 are from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 per person (cash only) at the door. The new location also means access to an ATM, which we previously did not have in previous years.
