The Fruit Club made a stop in Sedalia at North 65 Cafe last weekend to deliver fresh, hand-picked Georgia peaches. The Fruit Club offers seasonal fruit from only the best orchards in the United States. This month they brought peaches hand-picked the night before and driven on a semi truck from Fort Valley, Ga. to Sedalia.

Larysa and the team from the Fruit Club were very generous and provided us with a box of peaches, which have since been devoured. The Fruit Club will be back in town on Aug. 10, and for every box of peaches they sell, three dollars will be donated to Operation Homefront. Operation Homefront provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors.

The Fruit Club will also be back on Aug. 16 with fresh, hand-picked, big cherries from Washington state. Make sure to circle those dates on your calendar, and we will see you at North 65.
