The Sedalia Bombers baseball season came to an end this week. The Bombers finished 24-15, just two games back of the St. Joseph Mustangs in the MINK League North.

The Bombers did receive post season recognition with pitcher Sam Perez winning the MINK Pitcher of the Week award for July 13 - 19.  In addition, Perez was named the Pitcher of month in June. Perez was 6-0 on the season with a 1.07 ERA, 61 strikeouts. For his efforts on the season, Perez was recognized as the MINK pitcher of the year.

Sedalia Bombers second baseman and third baseman, Jonathan Ramon led the MINK League in home runs with 10 and runs batted in with 39. Outfielder Justin Holt led the team in average with .348.
