Silent Auction

I'm sure that the vast majority of us have been touched at some point by cancer.  I know a lot of my family has lost their fight with the disease.  It's hard to imagine anyone who hasn't known or been related to someone who has dealt with this.

The Johnson County Adult Literacy Program is working hard to make sure everyone has the skills to be successful. No matter the reason,  they are here to help others learn to read, write and do basic math skills.

Mikal Sue is a little girl diagnosed with a neurodegenerative disease called Sanfilippo Syndrome. There will be a chili supper and silent auction to raise money to help Mikal Sue and her family go to the National MPS Conference and pay for medical expenses not covered by insurance.

The Sacred Heart Bazaar was held October 11 and 12 at the Sacred Heart School.
