Yesterday morning, Dade County 911 received a call of shots fired at the Prairie Mountain Screen Printing business in Lockwood, Missouri.

Authorities have been investigating two homicides in Saline County after a 35-year-old man and his 83-year-old grandmother-in-law were killed on Thursday morning. The Saline County Sheriff's Department has announced that a person of interest in the case is being sought, according to reports.

A weekend shooting incident in Tipton has left a 19-year-old man dead.

Two people have been arrested and another is being sought after a series of gunshots early Sunday morning in Sedalia.

Three students have been wounded, one critically, after a gunman opened fire at Florida State University.  Classes at FSU are cancelled today.

UPDATE: According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the gunman spotted near Warrensburg High School on Friday morning was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound a few miles from the school after being pulled over by police.

Four people, including the gunman, were killed and 16 others injured in a shooting at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas Wednesday evening.  Fort Hood officials said the gunman was a soldier who had been receiving mental health treatment and that he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

A shooting at a suburban shopping mall in Maryland has left at least three dead, according to authorities.
