The Sacred Heart Bazaar 5k Run is part of the many events happening in the Sacred Heart Bazaar.

For over 50 years, the Leeton Lions Club has invested thousands of volunteer hours and been the driving force behind hundreds of community projects.

Every year, we see lots of different events to help different charities. Some of them are dinners, some of them are sales, and some of them are walks. One of the longstanding traditions in our area is a distinctive walk - the Walk to End Alzheimer's.

For the last five years, every summer we've  been lucky enough here in Sedalia to host an annual Firefighters Memorial Bike run.  This year, it looks like we're going to get an even bigger and better event that will take over all of Sedalia!

On Friday the 13th of June, the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri GLOW 5K Run/Walk will take place, presented by GNC of Sedalia.

The State Fair Community College Renewable Energy Technology Club, “The Renewables,” will sponsor a Green Day in May 5K run/walk and a free renewable energy seminar May 3 on the Sedalia campus. These disorders are characterized, in varying degrees, by difficulties in social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication and repetitive behaviors.  It's difficult to diagnose, difficult to treat, and difficult to understand.

The Devon’s Beat 5k Run/Walk will be held at the Lincoln Football Field on Saturday, April 5. We will be having their Second 5k that will benefit the SADS Foundation. The Wounded Warrior Project is committed to serving wounded veterans of this generation that bear both the visible and invisible wounds of wars, from burns and amputations, traumatic brain injuries and paralysis, to combat stress, post-traumatic stress disorder and depression.

We here at our stations are working to help out with breast cancer awareness.  And part and parcel with that is working toward a cure.  here are all sorts of creative ideas for how to try to solve this health conundrum.  So we decided to take the bull by the... teats?  I think my analogy is wrong here.  But read on, brave internetter!  I'll get my metaphors together soon.
