Arrow may finally give us the Bat-crossover we’ve dreamed of, as Season 6’s “Tribute” shocked us all with an official name-drop of Bruce Wayne himself. An actual Batman appearance is tricky, but does The Dark Knight actually occupy the Arrow-verse? We look at all the evidence from Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow alike.

Arrow Season 6 has more immediate concerns than whatever new mission Oliver picks up after a five-year crusade, but questions remain if the CW drama will more closely resemble its comic roots. Specifically, will Oliver Queen finally make good on that facial hair Stephen Amell has been dreading?

Apart from its 100th episode, Arrow Season 5 promises to bring fans to another major milestone for the series; completing the five-year flashback cycle that defined the early days. Normally, no one would bat an eye at Arrow indulging in a little celebratory trip down memory lane for its 100th episode, but the hour’s placement in a four-way CW crossover changes the game just a bit. As such, a new photo from the centennial’s table read reveals a surprising guest star from the series’ past, whose presence opens up a whole new quiver of questions.

Hard as it is to believe that October is nearly upon us, a return to The Flash and Arrow more than smooths over the changes.
