Kids, when I was a youngin, my parents told me time and time again that I was going to go to college.  Not only was I going to go to college, but that I was going to get scholarships.  It was pretty much a "you do this, or else!" situation, only with parental love and less threatening.

Kids, as we all know, I am a sucker for animals.  Just last week, the boyfriend and I nearly walked away with a dog after an adoption event.  But rest assured, we walked away without the dog, and only because it's not feasible NOW to get one.  We will have a dog when we're not living in a one bedroom apartment.

The Locash Cowboys put on a great show this past Saturday night (Dec. 15) at the Liberty Center.  Part of the night's festivities was a silent auction, which included a couple of LoCash autographed guitars.  The proceeds went to the Sedalia Lions Club Coats and Shoes program.

Kim Cupples and Bethany Cramer of Freddy's Frozen Custard in Sedalia and Jefferson City presented a check today (Dec. 13) to Show Me Honor Flight board members Tom Miller and Bob Chancellor. The check was in the amount of $3,523.00, reflecting the money donated by customers throughout November and a portion of the stores proceeds from Nov. 12.
