I was scanning through the channels and came across a documentary for the 'Civil War' and then suddenly I started reciting the quote from Cool Hand Luke 'What we've got here is a failure to communicate' and of course that led to Guns N' Roses Civil War song...

Last night came the shocking announcement: Robert Downey, Jr. will star in 'Captain America 3' alongside Chris Evans, kicking off the Civil War storyline in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But, what exactly is the Civil War storyline and what does it mean for 'Captain America 3,' 'Avengers 3,' the Infinity Gauntlet plans, Spider-Man and the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe?! (Whew!)

The Katy Depot is one of those local places that is rich in Sedalia History.  It's come a long way since when I was a kid, and it was a sad state of disrepair. Now, it's a thriving, educational hub where history comes to life in modern times.

Okay, kids, today we're definitely going old school.  Basically what I'm doing today is I'm going to recommend a songwriter, and not a band or singer.  Why?  Because the guy was dead before the end of the Civil War.  So he doesn't really have a record you can buy.
