Not many people like to buy whole albums anymore, and that's partially because digital music is focused on SINGLES . . . and since we entered the digital age, a lot of albums are just rushed out with a ton of FILLER.
Kids, last night we did our second edition of Pet Sounds. We played, in full, the new Mumford and Sons album 'Babel.' And I've gotta say, I heartily enjoyed it! I hope you did, too. So let's get geared up to do this again.
Kids, last week we did something a little different. On the evening show, we played an album in full. Most of you seemed to think it was a good idea to do this from time to time. So, I imagine we'll do this next in the early days of October. Maybe as late as October 10. But, what I'd like to know is, what album do you think we should do?
Between the years 1968 and 1970, the Steve Miller Band released five albums that put them on the classic rock map. The group will reissue those five albums — with some help from Edsel Records — this coming Oct. 8 as digitally remastered special digipak editions.
