Suspected Drugs Found During Domestic Assault Investigation

A 19-year-old Sedalia woman was arrested on multiple charges Wednesday in the 400 block of E. 3rd.

Police were investigating an unrelated incident when they heard screaming, and a neighbor reported a fight between a man and a woman. Police assisted the woman in getting her property out of the house, and while inside, officers noticed a white crystal substance on a mirror in plain view. The woman reportedly tried to blow the substance off the mirror and assaulted an officer.

Heaven M. McCue was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest and assault on a law enforcement officer.

Charges of domestic assault are being submitted against the man involved in the reported fight.
