Songs Stuck In My Head: TubThumping

92.3 Bob-FM is the home of the 80s, 90s and Whatever and upon occasion when I'm sitting here through the day, I get songs stuck in my head. It's time for another one of those times to remind me that songs can get in your head and then you have to unleash the beast.

That is the case for today's installment with Tubthumping from Chumbawamba. It is hard to believe that the song came out in 1997. This song was huge around the world and I can remember a few times that I went out the Club that it got the whole bar going crazy. I mean how could you not at the time just start to belt out the lyrics, especially after a rough day or just to keep you going in the positive approach.

Sometimes when you get the song stuck in your head it's nice to find an alternative and here is the Flaming Lips version that came out a few years later. I have to admit, I'm more partial to the original.
