On Thursday afternoon, Sedalia Police responded to Smith-Cotton High School 2010 Tiger Pride Blvd., after S-C staff called and said that a senior student had made threats to various students.

Several students advised the staff that the suspect told them he wanted to shoot fellow students on multiple ocassions.

The students also noted recent changes in the suspect's behavior.

When confronted, the student allgedly admitted to the threats, but did not reallly intend to commit such acts, according to a report.

17-year-old Ira L. Todd of Sedalia was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of 2nd Degree Terror Threat charge against him. Todd's court date and bond amount were to be announced.
