Authorities say several arrests have been made since late November following the execution of narcotics-related search warrants by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Unit, the Warrensburg Police Department Proactive Crime Unit and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office and Warrensburg Police Department Joint Special Weapons and Tactics Team.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Office says items associated with the distribution and use of a controlled substance were discovered on December 19 during the execution of a narcotics-related search warrant in the 900 block of Ridge Drive in Warrensburg. The warrant was executed following a traffic stop in the area of North and Washington St, which resulted in the arrest of 34-year-old Joseph Michael Harvey, who was placed on a 24-hour investigative hold for felony possession of a controlled substance.

Two men were arrested on December 18 after a narcotics-related search warrant was executed in the 200 block of SE 121 Rd in Warrensburg. The Johnson County Sheriff's Office says 54-year-old Jason Reed Noble and 43-year-old Melvin Leon Jones were arrested and placed on a 24 hour investigative hold. Noble was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, while Jones was held for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

On December 13, a narcotics-related search warrant was executed in the area of SE 13 Hwy and SE 240 Rd., Warrensburg. 22-year-old Ian Ray Adams of Warrensburg was arrested and placed on a 24 hour investigative hold for delivery of a controlled substance (possession with intent to distribute), unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

36-year-old Jonathan Neil Goodwin of Warresnburg was arrested on November 20 following the execution of a narcotics-related search warrant in the 200 block of SE 101 Rd. in Warrensburg. Goodwin was placed a 24 hour investigative hold for delivery of a controlled substance (possession with intent to distribute), unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
