I don't really consider myself a violent person. I guess I'm more of a shrinking flower.  But you know, you hear the news these days and you wonder if you shouldn't take some precaution. Maybe like carrying pepper spray, or something like that. But aren't those illegal? I think they might be... so there has to be a better option for all of us to feel safe again.

I think I've found it!  Self defense classes will be offered in Warrensburg for the rest of March. The 4-hour workshops will be held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday.  They will be held at Warrior Jujitzu in downtown Warrensburg. Workshop times are 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. No experience is required.

Dress code is something you are conformable in. The cost is $40.00 per session. There are also 8-week classes at the Warrensburg Community Center. Classes are on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The cost is $15.00 per class. These classes and workshops will be teaching 1Touch self-defense1Touch is described as a self-defense program that is designed with the disabled in mind. Children ages 10 and up are welcome. Seniors are encouraged to attend.

Defensively yours,
