Here's a look at some of what's going on for your Labor Day weekend.

The Moose Lodge of Sedalia will host a Poker Run to benefit CASA.

The Run will meet at the Moose Booth on the Missouri State Fairgrounds Midway, with kickstands up by 10:00 a.m.  All Wheels welcome. They will end around 3:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in Sedalia.  Afterwards, there will be a fish fry at 4:00 p.m. and a dance with Tobacco Row. The Windsor Septemberfest will be held August 28 – 31.

The truck and tractor pull will be on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. There will be live music each night on the G&L Liquor stage including the Jam Session on Thursday at 7:00 p.m., Jake Gills on Friday at 8:00 p.m., and Ponch & Pork N Beans on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. There will be a carnival open at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, a craft show, baby contest, a pie auction, parade, car and motorcycle show, and more.   For more information, visit www.windsorseptemberfest.com or contact Dennis at 660-351-2149.

The Liberty Center Association for the Arts and the Sedalia School District Foundation are happy to announce an art exhibit showcasing the art of Smith-Cotton Alumni. 

Alumni can submit up to two pieces of original art for the show.  The show will be the weekend of homecoming with a reception on Saturday, October 18 at 1 p.m.  The show will be a part of the weekend long events sponsored by the Sedalia School District Foundation Alumni Committee.  The show will continue through the end of October.  Submitting artists are asked to bring their pieces to the Liberty Center by Wednesday, October 1.   For more information, please contact the Liberty Center at (660) 827-3228.

The Steelville Arts Council is proud to present the 2nd Annual Show-Me Quilt Show and Vintage Quilt Exhibition at Gallery Zeke in September. 
The quilt show will be the first week of September, with competitors vying for prizes in several different categories. The vintage quilt exhibition will take place for the remainder of September after the quilt show and will feature a selection of quilts made prior to 1960. Please contact Rita Stulce if you have any vintage quilts that you would like to show in the exhibition.   The Show-Me Quilt show will run from 1 of September through 7 of September and the Vintage Quilt exhibition will follow from 8 of September to 28 of September. Gallery hours for the Quilt Show are 10-4 daily.
