The United Way of Sedalia and Pettis County have been working hard all year to help the less fortunate in our area in every way they can.  You've seen them all around town, working hard to get funding.  They've done very well in the past, and they will be gearing up for their next campaign before long.  But before they get there, they want to take a second and thank Sedalians for all their hard work and cooperation.  They're doing it with a Community Celebration coming up this weekend.

It's going to be on September 16th at Liberty Park, beginning at 11 a.m.  Come and show your support to our military and first responders while enjoying live music from One Track Train, free food, carnival games, kids fishing, train rides and more.  The Sedalia Pettis County United Way invests in sustainable solutions focusing on education, income and health to break the cycle of poverty in our area.  All funds raised stay local.  To find out more, go to their website, find them on facebook, stop by the office at 3615 West Broadway, or give them a call at (660) 826-2980. Don't miss out on the fun!

Celebratorily yours,
Behka
