The Sedalia Senior Center will be holding a garage sale fundraiser on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

"It will be all day Friday, all day Saturday, and noon to five on Sunday," said Brenda Moore with the Sedalia Senior Center. "We'll have baked goods, we've got clothes and books and music and household item...there's something for everybody. We have a whole section of toys and puzzles and games, too."

The garage sale will be in the gym that connects the Sedalia Senior Center with the Boys and Girls Club. Admission will be free.

This weekend's sale will benefit the Senior Center's home delivered meals program, which is delivering food to about 140 home-bound seniors in Pettis County on a daily basis, according to Moore.

A craft show at the Senior Center is also being planned for the Saturday before Mother's Day. 27 of 28 available booths have already been rented for that show. Anyone interested in booking the final booth should contact Brenda Moore at 826-0713. Moore says that there might be an opportunity to expand the number of booths, if there is enough interest, and if the weather cooperates. "If we get a bunch of extra people and we think the weather's going to be pretty nice that day, we have some space outside where we can expand a little bit and do some more booths."
