Sedalia Police Arrest Wisconsin Man on Fugitive Charge

Sedalia Police arrested one man Monday afternoon for being a fugitive from justice, after he was found sleeping on the side of the road near E. 9th Street and S. Monroe Ave.

According to the report, officers were dispatched to the area just after 4:00 to check on the man. Sedalia Police made contact with the suspect, who was reportedly sleeping.

A computer check revealed the man, 29-year old Israel A. Hernandez, of Arcadia, WI, had two warrants from the State of Texas. One warrant carried a bond of $25,000, while the other warrant for probation revocation, carried no bond.

Hernandez was arrested for the warrants and also one count of being a Fugitive from Justice. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail.
