A Sedalia man suffered minor injuries after the truck he was driving pulled into the path of another vehicle on Highway 65 Monday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that 58-year-old Larry W. Brandes of Sedalia, driving a westbound 2003 F-150 on Route HH, pulled directly into the path of a northbound 2012 Nissan Altima, driven by 22-year-old Zachary M. Overbeck of Enid, Okla., at 5 p.m.

The Altima struck the left rear of the F-150.

Brandes was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by a family member. Overbeck was reportedly uninjured. Both were reportedly wearing a seat belt.

The Altima had extensive damage and was towed by Don's Truck Towing. The Ford truck had minor damage and was driven from the scene by a family member.
