Sedalia Man Arrested on Multiple Charges

A 42-year-old Sedalia man was arrested on charges of burglary, shoplifting, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia on September 11 after police were called to Woods on Broadway. Security at the store had the suspect in their office when police arrived and had reportedly recovered stolen property from him. Police say they discovered meth and drug paraphernalia during a search. Joseph Jay Moore was taken to the Pettis County County Jail.
