I've been in the Sedalia Kiwanis Club for a little while now, and we've been working to try to get more young people involved in helping others.

The Sedalia Kiwanis Club is glad to report the start of a Key Club at Sacred Heart School. Key Club started in 1925 in Sacramento, California with 11 members. Today, Key Club is the most established and biggest administration programs,it has more than 270,000 individuals in 5,000 clubs in 37 nations.

Key Club International is the secondary school association supported by Kiwanis International. The Club helps Kiwanis in completing its main goal to help the kids of the world.  Key Club does a lot locally, for example, tidying up parks, gathering clothing donations and sorting out food  drives.

The Key Club of Sacred Heart School has 17 teenagers involved and they will be invited into the Key Club family by Kiwanis Division 11 Lt. Senator Mark McCarter. Stop by and meet the future with Key Club - the public is invited to attend! It'll be held in the Sacred Heart School Commons, 416 West Third. If you have questions, call Bob at 660-473-1270.

Keyingly yours,

Behka
