I was going through the Thompson Hills Shopping Center last night when this caught my eye.

Instrumental Influence has been at its location for a number of years. Previously it was located off of South 65 Highway in Sedalia.

According to a post on the company's Facebook page,

It is with a heavy heart and much sadness that we are announcing the permanent closing of our business, Instrumental Influence, Inc.

Due to health concerns, other job opportunities and unbalanced internet competition, we have decided to close the business effective July 30, 2018. This decision has been a very difficult one, but we have God's peace that it is the right decision for our family.

We appreciate the numerous loyal customers and friendships we have made over the past 28 years. The time has come for our family to move in a different direction.

WE WILL CONTINUE BUSINESS AS USUAL UNTIL JULY 30, 2018 WHICH WILL BE OUR LAST DAY.

Lesson payments WILL NOT be run on July 25 for August. Students are encouraged to work with their teachers to find a means and location to continue their music education and studies.

We truly appreciate each one of you and pray that music will continue to be a part of each of your lives and hope in some small way we did have a little influence.

Cayle & Lisa Yonce

The business, it's owners and the employess of the business will be missed.
