Today I had two of the members of the Sedalia Area Farmer's Market board in to tell us about the different options you have to get fresh food for your family. Brenda Raetz and Beverly Rollings came in and told us some info you might not know about the SAFM.

The ladies came by today to tell us about all sorts of things like when the market is, how many vendors they have and how you can pay. They immediately won me over when they brought me a fresh peach! All the vendors are local farmers who bring their own grown food and their own homemade crafts and goods. So you know not only are you helping out here locally, but you're getting the freshest vegetables you can.

Here's our interview with some more details.

You can stop by the Market on the Missouri State Fairgrounds on Tuesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Fridays from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Don't forget to visit their website, find them on Facebook, or give Brenda a call at 281-7244 or Beverly at 620-6841. If you want more information on how to be a vendor, how to help match the EBT donations or even if you just want to know what you can get at the market, check it out.

Freshly yours,
Behka
