Sedalia Police say methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were discovered on a pedestrian that was stopped during a subject check around 1 a.m. on June 29.

According to police, two pedestrians were stopped in the area of E. 7th St. and S. Lamine Ave. Both suspects had extraditable warrants for their arrests. 24-year-old Danielle Diann Ketcher was arrested on an outstanding warrant and was taken to the Pettis County Jail.

The second suspect, 27-year-old Derek Stephon Jackson of Sedalia, was arrested on charges including possession of a dangerous drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and a failure to appear misdemeanor. Jackson was also taken to the Pettis County Jail.
