Sedalia Police arrested a 54-year-old man over the weekend after receiving a tip from a member of the public.

According to a Sedalia Police report, an officer on patrol was approached by a person that said they had witnessed an intoxicated person at a gas station, and said that it looked like the suspect's vehicle was damaged.

Police arrived at the convenience store on West Broadway and made contact with 54-year-old David Buckner. Police say Buckner's vehicle had disabling damage, and that he admitted to driving it to the business.

Buckner was arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released on a city charge of driving while intoxicated.
