Officers with the Sedalia Police Department conducted a check of a suspicious vehicle on June 23 in the area of 26th St. east of Grand Ave.

Police say drug paraphernalia was in plain view when they contacted the driver, and a search of the vehicle led to the discovery of additional drug paraphernalia and substances that field-tested positive for the presence of marijuana and methamphetamine. The driver was also found to be operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

22-year-old Daryan Michael Harrison was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released pending formal charges.
