Pizza Ranch Coming to Sedalia

Although as of right now, the details still aren't completely available, we can report this: Sedalia is getting a Pizza Ranch Restaurant. In an email from Sydney Trepel, Account Lead at Pizza Ranch, it was related to us here at Townsquare that we should be expecting the franchise to arrive in Sedalia.

Marilyn Mayberry, director of franchise development at Pizza Ranch, recently announced that the company’s strategic franchise growth initiative is specifically targeting expansion in Sedalia.

Now, wait a second - you might be asking me, what IS a Pizza Ranch? Maybe I haven't traveled as much as I thought I had, because I've never heard of the place (my fault, obviously, not theirs). Well, don't worry, I did the research for you. The Pizza Ranch is a "fast casual" restaurant chain. Pizza Ranch offers pizza, chicken, a salad bar, and a pizza and chicken buffet. They have over 180 restaurants in Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. As to why they're expanding down our way, Trepel continued in her email:

Mayberry says the company’s franchise expansion targeting the area comes as the brand continues to consistently achieve its objectives, experiencing significant sales increases every year since its inception 34 years ago — which it plans to continue with the well-managed franchise expansion plan, and an unwavering focus on providing high quality food for a low price in a fun, friendly atmosphere.

! It looks like they've got a full buffet in addition to the pizza buffet, as well as a salad bar and dessert bar - and they do mention delivery options. We haven't heard yet when Pizza Ranch is coming, or where in town it will be located, but keep your eyes here and to our stations and we'll let you know as soon as it's announced.
