The Pettis County Firefighter’s Association will host their Annual Chili Supper on Saturday, April 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Pettis County Fire Central Station.

The complexity of modern industrialized life with a greater prominence of hazards has created an increase in the skills needed in firefighting technology and a broadening of the firefighter-rescuer's skills. They often provide emergency medical services that nobody else can bring.  Firefighting and firefighters have become ubiquitous around the world, from rural areas to urban areas. They do their job every day knowing they may get hurt or killed just in a normal day's work.

You can help our local firefighters by attending a great supper fundraiser. Make your plans now to attend the Pettis County Firefighter’s Association Annual Chili Supper on Saturday, April 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Pettis County Fire Central Station. You’ll have a choice of chili, chili dog or hot dog, plus dessert and a beverage.  Tickets for adults are $5, seniors and children aged 5-12 are a cost of $3. Kids under 5 eat for free.

Safely yours,

Behka
