One Officer Killed, Two Others Injured in Clinton Shooting

A police officer in Clinton has died and two other officers were injured in a shooting incident Tuesday night.

According to Fox 4 in Kansas City, Clinton County 911 received a call around 9:20 p.m. in which the phone line was left open and two women were heard screaming. Three officers were shot while responding to the scene.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that one officer has died and the two injured officers are being treated. Police said the shooter was found dead inside the home. The two women heard in the 911 call were not injured.
