There's been a lot of media attention to various restaurants and drive thru food establishments across the country as employees have refused to serve or take orders from law enforcement officers that are armed.

Closer to home one particular officer was refused service and asked to leave by an employee at an Olive Garden restaurant in Independence, MO. According to the Kansas City Star, Dave George, the president of Olive Garden, last night personally apologized by telephone to Officer Michael Holsworth for his experience at the Olive Garden near U.S. 40 and Noland Road.

You can go into many area restaurants and you will see, local, county, and state law enforcement officers with their weapons holstered. What are your views of this, and do you think it is or could be a problem in the Sedalia area?
