Off Kilter Christmas Songs: Patrick Swayze Christmas

There are plenty of great songs out there for Christmas that are just...not right.  But they're so not right, they're perfect. 

One of my favorite television programs of all time is a little thing called Mystery Science Theater 3000. If you haven't heard of it, you probably aren't friendly with me.  I'm just saying.  I've loved this show since 1991.  I was all of eleven years old and my life changed for the better.  It's smart, it's fun, and it's just perfect for someone like me. I have several of the shows on DVD and on an external hard drive... and VHS.  I also will put on an episode at night from time to time when I go to sleep.  I LOVE THIS SHOW.  I think we're clear.  It ended about 1998 after a few incarnations.  There have been a few spin offs, and now there's a reboot on Netflix that's pretty good.

Here's one of my favorite segments from the first era, known as the "Joel Years."  You don't need to know much about the actual show to enjoy the song.  It's self explanatory.  But if you do wanna know about the show, there's a pretty good Wiki article about it.
