The Matthewson Exposition Center on the Missouri State Fairgrounds will host NFPB Bullriding February 17-18, and Pro Rodeo February 24-25.

The back-to-back events have been an annual tradition in Sedalia for over two decades. "22 years. This is our 22nd year," said Todd Pettigrew with Federation Productions, the organizers of the bullriding and rodeo events. "We get to see the faces of many people for all four nights. That is awesome for them to enjoy the event that much. We just love it." Pettigrew says that the bullriding and rodeo events have been around long enough that some of the kids who grew up attending the event are now participants. "There's several guys that grew up, they got to see it, and now they're part of the show."

Some of the additional events will include a western trade show, pony rides, cowboy poker and mutton bustin'.

Doors will open at 6:30 for 8 p.m. events each night. Advance tickets are on sale at Dukes & Boots, Sedalia's Dairy Queen and Gene's Boots and Hats. Those that buy tickets in advance will save $2 per ticket. Prices at the door are $14 for adults and $7 for kids 4-12.
