Mark Your Calendar for the Next Million Cups Meeting

I know what you're thinking - a million of anything but dollars can't be that good, right?  WRONG!  You must have never had the 1 Million Cups group explained to you. 

1 Million Cups is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. The idea is, that local innovators and entrepreneurs and such meet repeatedly to discuss ideas.... over a million cups of coffee. Get it? It's so clever! Every Wednesday morning, one or two early-stage startups present their companies to a diverse audience of their peers, mentors, educators, and advisors. Each founder presents for six minutes, followed by a 20-minute question-and-answer session with the audience. They get feedback, ideas, and support from there. This is a completely voluntary group that is looking to help Sedalia businesses with new and fresh ideas. So why not check it out, if you have a dream that's been nagging at you to get to become reality. They'll meet the first Wednesday of each month at 9:00 am at State Fair Community College's Thompson Conference Center - so the next meeting will be on September 7.
