Today's (October 8) Lost 70s at 7, brought to you by Dickie Doo Bar-B-Que takes us back to the year 1974, when a great novelty song popped up on the Billboard charts.

Reunion, put out a song, Life is a Rock (But The Radio Moved Me). The song made it to the Top 10 on Billboard, but never built enough steam to the top of the charts. Life is A Rock (But the Radio Moved Me) did a great job of summarizing some of the great songs and artists that made radio great in the 1950s and 60s and even the early 1970s.

In some ways, it reminds me of Billy Joel's We Didn't The Fire, which did a great job of recalling historical moments in time, but in the case of Life is a Rock, it highlighted musicians.

Reunion is a true one-hit wonder of the 1970s and was never heard from much, but the song was reprised a few times.

Congrats to Dennis Thornton on winning the $15 certificate to Dickie Doo Bar-B-Que.
