The KMOS-TV production “Missouri Life” was recognized by the Mid-America Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences as Best Magazine Program in  a ceremony Saturday, Sept. 22. The award-winning episode included visits to the National Churchill Museum in Fulton, the Green Meadow Barn Company, Bek's Restaurant, profiles of local artists and prominent citizens. It was one of two programs from the third season of the series nominated - the other was for the Cape Girardeau program.

The KMOS production team responsible for the current season is Roy Millen, Christy Millen and Eric Boedeker. The on-screen host is Meredith Hoenes. “Missouri Life” is produced in partnership with the publishers of Missouri Life Magazine, Greg Wood and Danita Allen Wood. In 2017, KMOS was nominated for two “Missouri Life” programs in the same category, and received the Regional Emmy for the program on Silver Dollar City.

A fourth season of “Missouri Life” will air Thursday nights beginning Oct. 4, with visits to the Missouri communities of Independence, Clinton, Lebanon, and Ste. Genevieve, and more.
