As if the Royals didn't have enough problems with their 43 consecutive innings of not scoring a run, now add this to the mix of things.

Details are sketchy at this time but according to reports, Duffy was cited for a DUI Sunday evening around 8:00 p.m in Overland Park, Kansas. According to the Kansas City Star, Police confirmed the report, but would not comment further until the official report was released.

Duffy would have normally been in Cleveland as the Royals had a three-game series against the Indians but he was rehabbing an arm injury.

It's unclear whether any punishment will be coming from the Royals and/or MLB. At this time there’s no league policy regarding DUIs.

According to the article in the Star, Duffy had no comment from Kauffman Stadium Monday as spent his time in the training room.
