We've already seen James Bay cover Haim's "Forever" in the BBC's Live Lounge, so when he dropped by the radio show again, we weren't too surprised to see him take on Rihanna's "FourFiveSeconds."

Standing casually at the mic in his signature hat, Bay quickly jumped into the song and made it his own. Embodying both Paul McCartney's role with the guitar playing and the emotional vocals that were originally laid down by Rihanna and Kanye West, the U.K. singer-songwriter proves that he's the whole package with this cover, which he performed earlier today (March 3).

And even though this song may seem to be one that is outside of James' wheelhouse, he couldn't contain his excitement over the performance. "This was so fun to do! The lads and I covering one of my new favs ‪#‎FourFiveSeconds‬ in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge," he wrote on his Facebook page.

James' Chaos and the Calm hits the streets on March 24 via Republic Records, and he will make his SXSW debut later this month.

In the meantime, compare Bay's rendition with the original version of "FourFiveSeconds" below:
