I'm sure you had some difficulties after our "blizzard" this past weekend.

But boy oh boy, is it not pleasant to get out of your house at 4:00 a.m. in the pitch black to scrape snow off your car and hope the roads are clear to get to work.  I made it, though, and when I got to work, I saw nothing but ice everywhere.

I don't think it's been this bad, ever.  I've had quite a few winters in this building, and I've seen the parking lot get pretty bad.  I've fallen my fair share of times.  It's never fun to smack down on your hinder at the start of the day.

But ice like this.... this is just crazy.  It's everywhere in the entire parking lot, and it cracks a bit when you walk on it.  And when it's pitch black outside, that doesn't make it any more appealing. I guess I could just pretend that if I can't see it, it's not there?  Nah.  I took the tiniest, smallest little steps and made it in the building, but I'm sure if this stuff doesn't melt soon I'm going to have a tumble at some point. It's just inevitable for someone as clumsy as me.  My boss put out some ice melt, but we obviously need more than the kind that you put on sidewalks.  We need like, the industrial kind or something.  The big deal stuff.

Or I could just fall on my dingus hinder over and over again.  That's probably the most likely scenario.  Did you get some ice at your place? At your work? What do you do to deal with it?

Icingly yours,

Behka
