The Great American Trailer Park Musical had their season opener at The Liberty Center Association for the Arts on Thursday to a huge reaction. It's still playing, and you shouldn't miss out on your chance to see it!

The Great American Trailer Park Musical is written by David Nehls and Betsy Kelso. It explores the relationships between the tenants at the Armadillo Acres Trailer Park in Florida, particularly between Pippi, “the stripper on the run,” the Dr. Phil loving, agoraphobic Jeannie and Jeannie’s tollbooth collector husband, Norbert. Show dates are Oct. 17-20 and Oct. 24-27 on the historic Liberty Center stage located at 111 West 5th Street in Sedalia.

The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with Cocktail hour beginning at 6:30 p.m. Sunday shows begin at 2 p.m.

Fred Norman, the director of the show, came in with Terri Ballard, the Executive Director of the Liberty Center, to tell us all about it.

It’s a fun, empathetic romp through this crazy trial we call life. It’s a rocky, country blues type of show that doesn’t take the “Trailer Life” too seriously. Tickets are only $12 each and can be purchased by calling (660) 826-2899. You can visit their website for more information, as well.

Theatrically yours,
Behka
